So there gathered in the secret chambers of the High Priest all the chief priests and elders of the people, and there was numbered among them: Ananus Ben Seth, Joseph Caiaphas, Ismael Ben Phali, Eleazar Ben Haman, Jonathan Ben Ananus, and Simon Ben Kambith the chief scribe and a teacher of the law.

Summary:  Son of Ananus Ben Seth, Jonathan Ben Ananus was among the chief priests who secretly conspired against Yeshua, even to the extent of having him killed. Jonathan was among those who plotted to have Judas killed if he succeeded in murdering Yeshua (Y:21:4-25). Jonathan was also among the chief priests responsible for plotting the murder of Lazarus (Y:41:29-30), and contributing to events leading to Yeshua’s death. Other chief priests who plotted against Yeshua include Joseph Caiaphas, Simon Ben Kambith, Ismael Ben Phali, and Eleazar Ben Haman (Y:3:28; Y:21:4).
