Son of God

Occurrences:  Son of God - 4        son of God - 4

First Reference:  Beginnings 24:49

Now if it so be that they should kill the Son of God when you shall go forth to redeem them, then shall I cause that you should receive the resurrection of the body, that many might behold you again in the flesh.

See:  Emmanuel, Son of Man, Yeshua

Summary:  During a gathering of the Council of Elohim, the phrase “Son of God” is first used by the Arch-Angel Michael in reference to the Emmanuel. While addressing Father Ahman, Michael reveals plans to fulfill covenants regarding the seed of Seth and the seed of Abel (B:24:7-20). Michael’s son Emmanuel also speaks concerning plans to establish the covenant through the man Abram (B:24:21-29). Michael then offers a brief summary of intentions and foreordinations regarding the flow of dispensations and the going forth of Emmanuel, the Promised One, unto the children of men (B:24:29-65). Speaking to Emmanuel regarding the possibility of the “Son of God” being killed by evil leaders, Michael affirms the resurrection as a unique reciprocation, so that many might “know of a surety the promise of eternal life in the kingdom of God” (B:24:45-50).

In the book of Yeshua, the Nazarene never directly refers to himself as the “Son of God”, however, those responsible for his murder accused him of blasphemy, and for claiming to be the Son of God (Y:37:39-45; Y:47:53-54).

Throughout scripture, the proper form of the phrase “Son of God” is only used in connection with Emmanuel, the son of Michael and Sher-el. As Arch-Angels, Michael and Sher-el are Gods; their son Emmanuel has not yet achieved such an exalted state. However, in fulfilling their duties within their respective Offices of Houses El Shalon and El Shaloah — Emmanuel and Sophiel will eventually progress to become Arch-Angels like their Heavenly Parents (W:14:32-34).

The lowercase “son of God” is also found in scripture:

Adam is referred to as the “son of God”       Beginnings 1:7

Lucifer greets Cain: “Greetings, O son of God”       Beginnings 2:4

Abgar Ouchama writes to Yeshua, surmising he is either a God or the son of God        Yeshua 25:10

Sophiel personally addresses the Teacher: “Behold, O son of God”      Wisdom 26:8

Notes/References:

39. And the Sadducees said unto him: “Show us the Father and we will believe.” He answered them, saying: “How shall I show you the Father, for I and my Father are one.”

40. Now when the Sadducees heard this, they picked up stones whereby they might kill the Lord. But the Master, being all calm within, spoke unto them, saying:

41. “Many good works have I shown you from my Father; for which of those good works will you now stone me?”

42. They answered him, saying: “For a good work we stone you not; but for blasphemy; for you, being but a man, have made yourself equal unto God.”

43. Yeshua answered, saying: “Is it not written in the scriptures this saying: ‘I have declared from the beginning, saying: Behold, you are gods, and all of you are the children of the Most High.’

44. Now if the Lord called them gods unto whom the word of God was given; and you know yourselves how that the scriptures cannot be broken;

45. How will you exclaim against him which the Father has sanctified and sent into the world, saying: ‘You have blasphemed.’ Will you then kill me because I said: ‘I am the Son of God?’

Yeshua 37:39-45

And there came also from the city, many which were of the chief priests and scribes, wagging their heads and saying: “If you be the Son of God, then come down from the cross and we will believe.”

Likewise did they mock him, saying: “He saved others, but himself he cannot save. He trusted in God, let us see if God will deliver him: for he said, I am the Son of God.”

Yeshua 47:53-54
