Summary: In scripture, the designation “Warrior God” refers specifically to the
Azraella Ahgendai (5:2:29). However, the phrase may be generally applied to the future
generations of the Ahgendai — a new and more exalted order of Godhood whose citizens
specialize in defending the realms of Heaven against the darkness and destruction
of the Demiurge.
For it is needful that the Ahgendai should prove themselves as warriors, to defend
with eager hearts the glory of the Heavens;
to stand themselves before the Darkness,
and there to clash amidst the fray,
to make the Heavens appear as new,
once the Darkness has fled away.
6th Endowment 1:25
For this cause did I foreknow the necessity of a host of warrior Gods, filled with
light and goodness yet graced by a firm resolve; even those who would stand beside
the Azraella as dreadful saviors who would rejoice in learning the art of war; becoming
themselves through emulation like the Father and the Daughter, to stand themselves
as sons and daughters of the Ahgendai.
