Now on the 25th of Kislev went Yeshua unto Jerusalem that he might attend the Feast of Dedication, or as the Jews called, the Feast of Lights, for on that day did Judas the Maccabee cleanse the temple of defilement.

Summary:  Kislev is the ninth month of the year on the Hebrew calendar. The Jewish Feast of Dedication, today referred to as ‘Hanukkah’, is celebrated beginning on the 25th of day of Kislev, which usually occurs in late November or early December. The event was first instituted by Judas Maccabee and fellow supporters in 165 BCE to commemorate the reconsecration of the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem (Y:4:22).
