And entering in at the sheep gate, beside the fortress Antonia, Yeshua came to the pools of Bethesda and there saw Onias sitting beside the waters desiring to be healed, for he had a crooked foot which was injured from his youth.

Summary:  Scripture refers to the “pools of Bethesda”, near the sheep gate by the fortress of Antonia (Y:4:23). It was there that Yeshua saw the man Onias “desiring to be healed” of a crooked foot. According to scripture, Onias was the third person Yeshua healed (Y:4:23-25), preceded by Lazarus and Simon Ben Simeon, who were both healed just days earlier (Y:4:1-13).
