Summary: According to the Torah, Zebulon, the last son of Leah and Jacob, was the founder of the Israelite tribe of Zebulon. The tribe of Zebulon (one of the twelve tribes of ancient Israel) was eventually allocated land west of the Sea of Galilee. The territory of Zebulon was later conquered by the Assyrians and the Israelites were exiled.
The ‘land of Zebulon’ is mentioned in the opening verse of Yeshua chapter 3 (Y:3:1).
