Gethsemane

Pronunciation:  geth-SEHM-uh-nee

Occurrences:  3

First Reference:  Yeshua 45:71

And going out of the room, they went unto the Mount of Olives, and entering in, the Lord drew himself away unto the Garden of Gethsemane to pray.

Summary:  Gethsemane was a garden located at the base of the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem. It was here that Yeshua went to pray during the evening prior to his arrest and subsequent crucifixion (Yeshua 46). It was also at Gethsemane that Yeshua gave his post-resurrectional address to his closest followers (Y:52:47-71).

Notes/References:

And the Lord, when he was come unto the Mount of Olives, commanded that his disciples should wait awhile for him; and taking Cephas, and James, and John, they went forth unto Gethsemane.

Yeshua 46:1
