Three days before the Feast of Dedication, Yeshua entered Bethany and there was sitting by the well of Tamara a blind man whose name was Lazarus the son of Joash.

Summary: Joash was the father of Lazarus (Y:4:1), and his siblings Martha and Mary, the wife of Yeshua. According to Azrael’s Commentary, Joash and his wife were devout followers of John the Baptizer (AZC — Yeshua and Mary). The family of Joash lived in the village of Bethany, less than two miles east of Jerusalem.
