Pronunciation:  ming + gai

Occurrences:  1

First Reference:  3rd Endowment 16:36

For we are alone and cut off in this strange and hostile land, seeing that the greater part of all our forces are still across the Straits of Ming Gai, being unable to cross over to aid us.

See:  Ahgi Wynnaki, Chen, Drakonia, Enjenare (straits of), First Power, First Track

Summary:  During the First Track of the world of the First Power, the Straights of Ming Gai were likely what is referred to in the present day as the Bering Strait, which connects the Arctic and Pacific Oceans between Alaska and Russia. During a siege in an effort to take control of the northern regions of Drakonia, the armies of the Chen became stranded in Drakonian territory when their naval forces were defeated by those of Drakonia (3:15:63 —17:5).
