Azrael’s Commentary — Hadriattica

[Located] in present-day San Francisco and Oakland, the city of Hadriattica was the largest naval base in the world, and was home port to no less than six super carrier task forces. Hadriattica surrounded the entire San Francisco Bay area, and as a result of this, the Drakonians built a series of large suspension bridges to connect one side of the city with the other. These bridges were in the exact same places that present-day bridges are found. Hadriattica was also the central supply depot to other important naval bases found along the northwest corridor. These naval bases were: Port Lucian (present-day Seattle, Washington), Port Titian (present-day San Diego, California), and Ostia Braggah (present-day Anchorage, Alaska).
