Now when he had said these things, there came from the shadows of the room, Mary of Magdala, a harlot made mad by familiar spirits. And she came and did kneel before the Lord, weeping many tears.

Summary:  Magdala was a town in Galilee from which the woman Mary (Miriam) was from. Mary became a devout follower of Yeshua after he healed her of a severe case of syphilis (Y:8:60-62) (AZC — Mary of Magdala).
